Risk Assessments

At Rescom we undertake three types of Risk Assessmnets; Legionella, Fire and Asbestos

Legionella

Fire Risk

Asbestos

IT is a legal requirement for a Legionella risk assessment to be carried out on all commercial properties where there is five or more employed.

It is also a legal requirement for a legionella risk assessment to be carried out every two years on all residental properties that are rented.

In England and Wales, if you are an employer, owner, landlord or occupier of business or other non-domestic premises, you’re responsible for fire safety and are known as the ‘responsible person’. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 details what you have to do to comply with the law.

Your first task is to ensure that a Fire Risk Assessment which identifies all the possible fire hazards in the work environment and details what prevention measures are required is undertaken.

A Rescom asbestos survey will

help manage asbestos in your premises.

  • To provide accurate information on the location, amount and condition of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).

  • To assess the level of damage or deterioration in the ACMs and whether remedial action is required.

  • To use the survey information to prepare a record of the location of any asbestos, commonly called an asbestos register, and an asbestos plan of the building(s)
